Today at Tim Engle Design we’re taking a more collaborative centric approach. Our philosophy is simple and relevant.

"It’s about Attraction Not Promotion, enabling real connections with real people."

Here we’re focused on shifting the mindset of brands and companies to a new collaborative culture rooted in our simple philosophy, Connect, Communicate, Collaborate. In other words, be real, be relevant and be valuable.

We have 20+ years in Advertising, Marketing & Design. We work in B2C, B2B, B2E with everything from global brands to start ups. We help compainies define their VISION and discover their VOICE and develop their unique brand VIBE. In turn, helping them create deeper sustainable brand connections that drive growth on multiple levels. Our expertise lies in developing and driving a creative vision from concept to completion through a myriad of engaging communication channels.

We are problem solvers first and executional experts in both the traditional and digital space. We’ve had the honor of working with several notable Fortune 50 Financial institutions, global corporations, multiple mid-market companies, regional brands all they way down to local start-ups. A few notable names, Bayer Healthcare, Coca-Cola Enterprises, IBM, Dr. Oz’s Healthcorps, the Health Collaborative, Saab Automotive, Bellsouth, Kroger, Chiquita, Fresh Express, Kikkoman, JCPenny, Executive Jet Management, Federated Department stores, Roller Skating International and the list goes on. Tim studied fine art, photography and graphic design at the University of Alabama and then attended the Design program at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He also served two terms on the Cincinnati AdClub board of directors and is an AIGA active member.

He is also the Founder of BrainTrust (A two-way mentorship program designed to close the intergenerational gap and accelerate innovation in the Cincinnati creative community). Read Less

Tim learns by doing, a discovery his mother made the hard way when, at age 6, he started taking household appliances apart on a regular basis, with a less than perfect record of putting them back together.

Tim wanted to be a rock star, because it required very little spelling, but when that didn’t work out, he put what he learned at the Portfolio Center art school and the University of Alabama School of Fine Arts to work and went into advertising, beginning his career as a graphic designer.

Tim’s creativity was quickly recognized and he was assigned to high level accounts, but he still longed for the stage. He taught himself marketing strategy so that he could emerge from the hidden recesses to the design department into the limelight of client meetings. In the mid 1990′s when clients began talking about websites and e-commerce, Tim recognized another opportunity to teach himself. He studied interactive design so that he could not only influence the look and feel of a website, but program content as well.

Tim went on to lead the creative department for Agency.com in Atlanta and then onto the Cincinnati office of MKTG, a New York based marketing agency. Tim’s ability to merge the technical aspects of a digital strategy with creative design and classical marketing science allowed the firm to establish a digital footprint and take on the global launch of a new Bayer Healthcare product.

Having too many skills in the agency world can be a curse if you end up being stretched too thin for the benefit of too many clients. But in the entrepreneurial world, where survival depends on the ability and willingness to go “all-in” and disregard job descriptions for a single focused mission, Tim found his fit.

Tim is a uniquely qualified marketing partner. Further, what could be more entrepreneurial than his refusal to let what he doesn’t know keep him from trying or stop him from learning something new. Preferably, he won’t be working on household appliances, but if the need arises…… Read Less
