To prove itself as the most romantic beer in the world, Stella Artois wanted to make a big statement on Valentine’s Day. We hand painted romantic statements in key U.S cities meant to be photographed and shared.
Since ads aren't the most romantic way to do that, we kept them free of branding to keep the expression of love pure: no product, no logo, no hashtags. Only romance.
The Unfinished Billboards were shared by lovers in social media, and even by celebrities like Vanessa Hudgens –
who shared with her 36 million followers. On February 15, we finished the billboards with Stella branding to take credit for the billboards and celebrate love all month.
