Pohutukawa floral collection
I thought it was about time I created a print that celebrates this iconic Kiwi flowering tree.
In New Zealand, the vibrant red flowers are synonymous with summer, beach barbeques and Christmas. Pōhutukawa (pronounced "poe-who-too-car-waa") is a native evergreen tree from the myrtle family, commonly found growing in coastal areas. In the summer months Pōhutukawa produce a brilliant display of flowers made up of a mass of crimson stamens. Occasionally the flowers can be seen in rare variants of yellow or white, which are included in this colourful print collection. This print is available for license, get in touch with me if you are interested.
