Razzle Dazzle Type System is a project by Lorenzo Bravi and Paolo Palma, presented for the first time in Communico 2013, Lugano, in November 2013. The type system Razzle Dazzle is an experimental project inspired by the camouflage ships used during the First World War, and investigates illegibility as both an aesthetic and a functional feature. Razzle Dazzle takes time to read, it requires close reading and time in order to decipher it. We want to hide rather than show, we want people to devote the proper amount of time to understand and appreciate. This poster shows an example of the use of the Razzle Dazzle font. Graphic design by Paolo Palma.
