Background: The world-famous pop beverage Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink manufactured by PepsiCo. Originally created and developed in 1893 by Caleb Bradham and introduced as Brad's Drink, it was renamed as Pepsi-Cola on August 28, 1898. Since then as Pepsi in 1961 the company has changed its brand on eleven occasions, I decided to try and reinvent the brand with a futuristic twist, reimagining what form the Pepsi Logo might take somewhere in the far off future.
Solution: I took two semi-circles and placed one within the other to form a complete circle. The circle is a universal symbol with extensive meaning, It represents the notions of original perfection, the infinite, and timelessness. All the later qualities that Pepsi want their cola drink to emulate as a product, a soft drink that by design is original and perfect, a timeless brand, a taste that impossible to measure ( infinite). With the logo being placed within two semi-circles ( that form a complete circle) the sphere can be used as the perfect symbol for sponsorship of sports such as Football ( Soccer), Golf, Baseball, Basket Ball, Cricket, Field Hockey, Netball, Volleyball and Handball.
