Danilo Gusmão Silveira

Multidisciplinary Designer and Art Director born in São Paulo/Brazil, Danilo has been working over the past 10 years for Agencies and Studios as a Graphic Designer and Art Director for the advertising and entertainment field.

He thinks Design Strategy is more important than the medium it will be released on or the technique used, so he can work with any medium (from print to film production/direction) without any problems. His experiences includes Art Direction, Graphic Design and Film Direction. He also can work with 3D, motion design, color grading, matte painting and Typography to help him achieve his ideas and results.

He is a co-founder of Dope, a visual arts journal that features inspirational works around the world. In 2016 he had an amazing meet and greet with students of Motion Design Class at Melies Art School in São Paulo/Brazil. He talked about being a Designer and Art Director in the film production field, presenting his processes, talking about career steps, daily routine, team management and Design Direction.

He was also selected to join in one of the Mesa‘s project, a company that gather amazing professionals from different fields in order to create solutions for real problems, sharing their knowledge and crafting a project in one week. As a maker, he participated in the creation of a new product for one of the largest Brazilian Seasoning Company, creating a full strategy for this product over the years since its launch.

He’s currently living in Toronto, having an amazing experience in the Canadian’s cold winter, working as an Independent Professional and looking for amazing projects and people to work with. Read Less
