I suppose this part is normally written in the third person, but that sounds a little bit pretentious in my opinion so I'll just write in first person!

Art and music have always been my two favourite things in life. I love playing my guitar & I've always got music playing when I'm working on illustrations or design pieces. I started teaching myself photoshop at the age of 16 while I was in school & managed to utilise it in some of my school projects. When I graduated from high school I did a gap year at Rivers Church in Sandton as a junior designer in the creative department. (www.riverschurch.org.za) Here I had the privilege of designing our new album's artwork as well as a full branding campaign and various other print tasks. In March of 2010 I decided to take the leap and start freelancing & I haven't regretted it one bit. I am loving the freedom and having the time to learn as much as I can in my own time & work on things I am passionate about. I have worked on branding for many local companies (mainly Small Medium Enterprises) as well as cover artwork for various local bands. I am currently loving illustration and painting and I'm hoping to move into that on a more full-time basis. As of now, graphic design pays the bills, but illustration is my passion!
