Starting with a simple “why?”, the work process always involves both research and intuition, aiming to provide meaningful, honest and surprising ways to solve the task. We always encourage close, trustful relationships that are achieved through direct communication between the designer and client. AKU was founded in 2012 by Alari Orav, Kaarel Kala and Uku-Kristjan Küttis, who share over 35 years of combined experience in graphic design and communications.
