Sara has worked for 30 years as both illustrator and graphic designer. This dual role as a professional increased her understanding of the function of illustration in communication arts and also made her a thoughtful problem solver. Her figures occupy a highly organized space, with shape, texture, contrast and colour all playing important parts in her concepts. Her illustrations have been recognized by 3x3 Magazine, Applied Arts Awards, Society of Illustrators – New York, Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles and Lürzer’s Archive Special: 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide, 11/12.
