About
Within my illustrations, I attempt to capture critical moments that mark divisions of change within the context of emotion. My process creates a liaison between photorealistic rendering and contemporary design, in aim to emphasis the superlative elegance within each art form. My highly emotive, expressive, and intricate rendering derives from my attraction to literary poetry; and are intrinsic to my artistic identification.
Most often I develop realistic subjects created using graphite, ink, and charcoal. I then sync them with minimalistic design and self-‐-‐-‐produced textures to enhance the energy of my subject. I feel there is something about capturing sentimentality that makes a piece of art most personal.
